Description

– Inspired by the Film the Boy Who harnessed the Wind!

11am – 2pm

Learn how to create wind turbines and other exciting items from used materials, promoting sustainability while adding a touch of flair to your creations. This session is open to all who just want to play, experiment, explore, create, fail, try again and re-create! There is no judgement here. Come and play with available scraps or indeed bring your own scraps. Produce a trial piece or your master piece. Learn about the amazing work of the organisation Moving Windmills, our collaboration with them and the powerful story of William Kamkwamba which featured in the Netflix film, the Boy Who Harnessed the wind. Want to get involved in our collaboration from the end of May – follow the link.
