Exciting News: Expanding Community Engagement through Sports Activities

We are delighted to announce that the African Diaspora Foundation is taking a bold step to expand our community engagement efforts by venturing into the world of sports activities. Our goal is to not only promote physical well-being but also to strengthen the connections between communities and our youth.

As part of this exciting initiative, we are teaming up with “Friends of the Cebrian” to organise a marathon on 27th of April 2024. This marathon will provide a platform for communities from various backgrounds to come together, run for meaningful causes, and support activities that matter for their organisation. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect, share, and make a positive impact on our community.

But that’s not all! We’re also gearing up to host a thrilling football tournament. Sixteen teams will compete in an exhilarating clash of skills and teamwork, all competing to be crowned the champions of the Milton Keynes African and Caribbean Tournament. The tournament will serve as a foreword to the grand celebration at the African Diaspora Festival, set to take place on 6th July 2024.

We can’t wait to see our communities unite through the power of sports and make a memorable impact on our journey toward a more vibrant and inclusive future. Stay tuned for more details and get ready to join us in these exciting sporting events!
